Wow it has been forever since I posted anything. I hate not having internet. Im in Arizona and I can use my sisters internet so I thought I would post some pictures.
Things are going good for us, we are happy and healthy. Jayden has been walking for a little over a month now and she is doing so well at it. she is learning how to run a little and it is the cutest thing ever her legs are so tiny, she is tiny she weighs about 17 pounds and is i think 27 inches long. We have a hard time getting her to sit still and eat now that she can walk around.
Well I just wanted to put up some current pictures fore everyone, but I have to get going.

So we haven't had internet in forever that is why I haven't written anything in forever...But don't worry I didn't forget about this...I just haven't been able to do anything...I am actually at a cafe by my house that has free internet it if you purchase something. So I am drinking a carrot, apple, parsley juice. It is good but interesting. But hey I got a couple fruits and veggis out of the way right. Well I just wanted to say that we are all doing good. Jade is getting so big and as soon as I have more time to spend at the library or something I will post pictures and stuff! Love ya all!

Super bowl

I know that this was like a month ago, but we watched the super bowl at a movie theater. It was pretty cool!

Marcie and I got really bored so we went and watched Taken and The new girl in town ( I think that is what its called) anyways...Taken was such a good movie, my favorite one in a while, I suggest seeing it!

well it has been a long time since I wrote and so much has happened. Jayden is getting so big, She is now 5 1/2 months old!!

She is so happy after she eats!
I love this little outfit!

She has started sitting up and she was making the cutest faces! Every time I see this I crack up!

We got her a Bumbo to sit on , she liked it for a little bit, we took it back because it was a waste of money cause every time we put her in it she cried.

She loves the camera, she was posing for it!

We started to feed her rice cereal at night because she was waking up every two hours so I thought that maybe she wasn't eating enough at night, It worked for a couple nights but then she started waking up again, s we are trying something new and now she wont eat it again.

But I love the pictures that we got!

I put her in her swing with some toys and she was giving them the dirtiest faces! It was so funny, I am glad that i had the camera right there.

It was the little crab toy that she was making faces at.

We got her a bouncy play seat thing, I don't know what it is called, ha ha. She loves to play in it, it is nice for me!

When she starts to cry she gets the biggest lip, this isn't even half of it, I couldn't get her to do it again once she saw the camera because the camera makes her so happy.

I can't believe how fast time goes, I feel like yesterday I had Jayden. She is getting so big now. She talks all the time is starting to roll over. It is so fun to see her do new things!

She loves her little play mat, I find her sucking on the side thing all the time.

She was trying to get that binki so hard, it was cute.

She is so freaking cute!, She always has her hands like that, so proper already!

Jayden loves TV, it is quite nice, if she is fussy I can usually prop her in front of the TV and she will watch it for a while. She loves to watch it with daddy too.

Jayden has started to discover her hands. She usually sticks her fist up in the air and then will bring it to her mouth and put pretty much her whole fist in her mouth. It is really funny.

She is starting to grab things, and put everything she can into her mouth. She still hasn't quite gotten the hang of it but she is trying so hard.

I miss Arizona!!

It snowed for 2 days straight and there is probably more then a foot of snow on the ground.

I HATE IT! Not to mention that not having a car and being stuck inside SUCKS! We disconnected the cable so I now either have the choice of local channels blah or nothing. I guess I better pull out my housewife skills to keep me busy! Stupid cable charging to much to watch crap on TV!

I am so glad that my taxes go to pay people to plow the roads in the winter time and they some how miss my street. Thank you Utah!
Another thing that I love is some idiot parks their car right at the end of the side walk (he didn't park there this time) so to get anywhere on that side of the apt you either have to walk under the tree, fun! or you have to walk through the foot of snow. I am really tempted to have his car towed next time, or egg it I haven't decided.

As most people my new years goal is to loose weight and get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. We have started eating healthier but I have one weakness and that is sweets. I love them and it is really hard to give those up, so instead I am making my sweets more healthy. My latest discovery is black bean brownies. They sound like they are going to be gross, but they are so good...here is the recipe for those that want to venture.

Black Bean Brownies

1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1 cup canned or home-cooked black beans
4 eggs
2/3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

Drain black beans, reserving 2 TBS liquid. Puree beans and bean liquid in blender until a thick paste is formed.
mix cocoa, butter, sugar, black beans puree and eggs together in a bowl until well blended.
mix flour, salt, and baking powder together in a small bowl and stir into wet mixture. Grease 9x13-inch pan, pour batter into pan.
Bake 40 min at 350 degrees or until brownies test done with a toothpick.

If your not weirded out by the idea of beans in your Brownies You should try this. they are seriously so good!

Christmas in Arizona

Jayden was so good for the car ride, she pretty much slept the whole time! It was great!

Ha Ha oh man, some of you know that my grandma gives some very interesting presents, this is one of the things I got this year, a sleeper for adults. And yes those are booties that go with it. SICK that is all I can say!
Christmas morning I put Jade in this Santa outfit, it was so cute. I was going to get a picture with Santa and her wearing this but the pictures at the mall were $15.00 for one 4-6 picture. Obviously I didn't get one. There are also little tights that have shoes on them. It is so cute

Ann and the triplets, my mom made that shirt for her. I love it!

Masons is so cute, but a terror it must be the age.

Jade went for a shoulder ride. She also drooled all over Matt's head. It was soaking, pretty funny!

She loves when I play the piano, when she is fussy I go to my keyboard and play and she calms down. I have also taught her how to play a little:)

We took the boys to a train park in Scottsdale. Jade and I watched the boys on the Merry-go-round.

Then we rode the train! It goes around this little track and they have bison and little things set up that you can look at. It is cute!

The boys loved Jayden, Parker was so cute with her. He held her hand and kissed her and put her Binky in when she was crying, it was so cute!

Mason loved her to, he hasn't quite figured out the male and female thing so he always called her a he, it was funny.

Jayden's blessing was Dec 7th. She was so pretty in her dress. My mom made the dress and my sister made the bow. I am so lucky to have such a talented family!

Matt gave such a beautiful blessing, I am so lucky to have him.

Can I first say that I am sorry that it has taken me so long to update this. I was in Arizona for three weeks helping my sister who is pregnant with triplets. Plus it doesn't help that the Internet at my apt sucks.

I have such a hard time keeping up on this. i have good intentions to but there are so many other things that I have to do when Jade is asleep that i never get to this...
She had her second Dr. apt yesterday. She weighs 12 pounds and is 23 in. She is growing so fast! She had to get her shots also and when they did them her cry was the saddest cry I have ever heard. It made me cry.
Well that was fun, Jayden just woke up so now i get to feed her. I will try and post more soon.

I had to get naked baby pictures before Jade got to big. She was still a little to big to do this type of picture but that's ok.

The lady that did the pictures put these up on her website www.thatsmephoto.com. If you are looking for a photographer I would suggest her, she did a great job and she came to my house to do them!

I love this, I can't wait to get the rest of the pictures! She kept lifting her head up while we were trying to take them, but this is adorable!

Lions & Tigers & Bears oh my!

Last night I had a nightmare that I was being chased by a bear and Matt woke me up because I was breathing so heavy. The bear had almost gotten to me, but then thankfully Matt woke me up.

This made me think...I am so thankful for a husband that I know is always there for me and would do anything for me. He is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I remember when we were dating that i told him that he was my night is shining armor, and I really believe that he is! He was so great when I was pregnant and is so great with our new baby! I am so glad that we are together forever. In a couple days we will have been married for Two years and I have loved every minute of it!

Smiles, sleeping and Co's

Jayden has started to smile when you talk to her in a high pitched voice. She smiles so much after she eats but for some reason it is so hard to get a picture of her smiling. Also we have been taking videos of her smiling but they end up being forever long because as soon as she sees the camera she gets really curious about it and stops smiling. But it is so cute! Being a mother can be hard sometimes but when she smiles it makes all the hard times seem not so bad!

She also has started to co (I am really not sure how to spell that), I love it, when she is happy she just talks away! Oh she also is getting a whiny cry, which sounds like it would be annoying, but it is one of the cutest things. It is sad when she cries but when she does her whiny cry I just can't help but laugh!

She is also sleeping 6 to 9 hours at night, She has been a good sleeper from the beginning but it has been really nice to not have to wake up as often.

Matt is pretty much the coolest helicopter pilot ever!!!

This is Matt flying the helicopter. He is pretty much the best! I got to fly with him for the first time, I was so excited, he did awesome. I feel so safe with him and he made the ride so smooth. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband. He is he best ever!

In the room where we delivered and stayed, right before I got induced.

Waiting for the Dr to hook me up to the drugs!
They monitored my contractions and Jayden's heartbeat through the whole thing. The top line is Jayden's heart beat and the bottom line are my contractions.
I had to be hooked up to oxygen for a while because Jayden's heartbeat kept spiking really low and that ment that she was stressed. After they did an amnio fluid (it is like an iv in my uterus to keep fluid in there and make sure that she was comfy) everything was fine and her heart beat was good for the rest of the labor.

I'm a Mommy!!!

I am a mommy!!! Jayden Lynn Jensen was born today at 1:27pm. She weighs 7.10 lbs and is 20 1/2 in. long. She did so good, she only cried a little bit when she came out and didn't cry at all during her bath.
Labor went so well for me, I came to the hospital at 6:30am, they hooked me up with poctocin around 8am, they checked to see how dilated I was around 9am and I had only gotten to 3cm and I was starting to feel the contractions so I got my epidural. They then checked me around 1pm and I was dilated to 9 1/2 cm. They were all surprised at how fast I dilated. They set up for delivery and at 1:27 pm she came. There was a lady in the room next to me who was having her 3rd child and she was induced at the same time as me, yep I had my baby before her. I was really lucky that I delivered so fast.
I felt nothing, had no pain and delivery was really easy! I am so happy to have my baby girl here with me now.

I'm sorry there are no pics yet, the Internet at the hospital wouldn't let me upload pics. If I figure out how to get them on here I will post some.

40 weeks and 1 day

Well I have finally gotten to my due date and past it...but good news I am going to be induced tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th at 6:30am. So I will have a baby here soon! I am so excited and a little scared but I know that things are going to be great!! I will have pictures up here by the end of the week. Everyone wish me luck!

Still no baby:( The last Dr appointment that i had on the 2nd the doctor told me that she thought that the baby would come this weekend, I have been waiting to go into labor and still nothing close to the real thing has happened. I am starting to get really frustrated, this part of pregnancy sucks so bad. Not only am I so uncomfortable but I can't do anything. Sitting anywhere is so uncomfortable, my feet hurt all the time. I have so many stretch marks on my stomach and they are swollen and hurt. I really hate being pregnant. I can't wait till I can snuggle her and love her! Hopefully this is my last post being pregnant!!!

37 weeks! Can you believe that, I am almost done! My baby is completely done developing, she is just now adding on the weight. I can have this baby anytime now and she should be just fine! And how I really really wish that she would come NOW!

Being pregnant is probably the most uncomfortable things ever. My stomach itches, I can't fall asleep at night, I have a huge stomach and can't do anything. My stretch marks hurt, not to mention it has ruined my body...I could go on forever on how much I really don't like being preggo. Oh what women go through to have children, I just have to keep telling myself every day that this is worth it. I really can't wait to hold her and love her, it is going to be really special.

If she happens to come soon (and pray that she does) I will let everyone know, we can take the computer to the hospital and upload pictures as soon as I want, so keep looking back to see if she has come!

Matt was the best man at his best friends wedding yesterday, he looked so hot in his tux. I was kinda worried about the pink tie, but i thought it looked very sexy oh him.

Ultrasound

My ultra sound went great yesterday, my doctor remeasured the head and abdomen and everything is just fine. She is measuring right where she should be. There must have been something wrong with the ultra sound machine last week. We are so glad to hear that everything is ok.

34 weeks

This week she is the size of a medium pumpkin. She is 19.5-20 inches long and 5 pounds. She is prepping for her birthday by bulking up layers of vernix, that white coating that protects her skin from nicks and scratches.
On Monday I had an ultra sound and the head and abdomen were measured. The doctor said that the head was measuring in the 90Th percentile and the abdomen was measuring in the 3rd percentile. Normally the head and the abdomen should be measuring the same. The Dr doesn't think that the ultra sound machine was working right but he said that if that is the case that my placenta isn't working correctly and it is getting all of the nutrients to the brain and head first and very little is going to the abdomen, making it so that my baby has a bigger head then abdomen. This made him a little worried so we are going to do another ultra sound on Monday and remeasure everything. I will keep you informed on what is going on...
I am so ready for this baby to come out. I have been so uncomfortable, i have a huge belly and i hate not being able to move normally. Lately I have been having a hard time sleeping too, I will be so tired all day but when it is time to go to bed I am wide awake and can't fall asleep. It is so annoying! Only 5 and half more weeks for me, I can't wait.

My baby is the size of a medicine ball this week, she is between 19-19.5 inches and 4.5 pounds. She gains about 1/2 and ounce a day. Her lungs are approaching maturity, the lungs are the last organ to fully develop.

She moves a lot but a lot less kicking because she is so cramped. She does more twisting and wiggling like a new born would. It is so fun to feel her moving around, I can't wait till I can play with her.

Fish lake

This weekend we went camping at fish lake with our friends. It was fun but being 8 months pregnant it was a different experience. Not sure I am going to camp again while I'm pregnant!
Matt is so silly, he bought a fishing hat just for this camping trip, he had fun posing for the camera to show off his hat!

8 months today! Two more months to go, I can't wait!!! This week my baby is the size of a 5 pound bag of potatoes. This week, your baby starts to shed that downy protective hair, called lanugo, though there may be some fuzzy remnants on her shoulders and back after she's born. With the exception of baby's still-developing lungs, all other major organs have completely formed -- which is great news if your baby happens to arrive early. I am a little behind on this, but last week my baby was the size of a soccer ball (aren't soccer balls smaller then basketballs, so is my baby getting smaller?) She is 17-18 inches long and 3.5 pounds. Pushing nearly 4 pounds, your baby's gaining more weight then height from now until her birthday in a few short week. Baby's reproductive organs are continuing to grow more sophisticated too, and would be quite visible on an ultrasound these days.

According to pregnancy.com my baby is the size of a folded sweater...I really don't know how they come up with these things, there has got to be something closer to the size of my baby that isn't so weird...anyways...my baby's having a ball in there! Now that her senses are fully developed, she can taste, touch, hear, see, and smell everything that's going on around her. She continues to practice breathing by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, which may mean she gets the hiccups more frequently now -- sending my uterus funny,twitchy spasms!

Yep you heard me right, we just found out that my big sister Ann is in fact having triplets!!! Crazy huh, we are all so shocked, I didn't even know that she could have kids right now. I hope that everything goes well for her and will keep you updated on how things are going for her.

I had to tell everyone this...yesterday after work I went to the grocery store to get some tortillas, milk and ramen noodles. I don't know if maybe this happened because of what I was buying and because I forgot to wear my wedding ring that day, but the lady behind me in line hands me a $10.00 bill and says "this is for your baby, i don't know who you are but this is for you" I didn't really know what to say, i took the money and said thank you that is very sweet. Maybe she thought that I was a single mom and really poor only buying the things that I did.

Later I realized something, someone told me that if I double my fast offering then the Lord will bless me for that. Last Sunday I did double my fast offering and then a random lady in the store just gave me $10.00. I know $10.00 isn't a lot but I really think the Lord had a hand in that and I am so grateful! I have such a huge testimony of tithing and fast offerings and i think that little gesture from that lady made it grow that much more!

By the way if you see me in the store feel free to give me money or food or whatever, I will gladly accept it:)

My belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger. At my appointment yesterday they measured my uterus and said that I am now measuring normal, 3 weeks ago I was measuring small. She is just growing so fast.
I feel her moving all of the time, it is really cool. Matt loves to feel her, he gets so excited.

Matt is so cute, the other day I found him sitting on a chair in the babies room just looking at all of the baby stuff...I asked him what he was doing and he said that he was just thinking about how excited he is for our baby to come. He loves her so much, he is going to be such a cute daddy!

My baby is now the size of a basketball.

There wasn't a lot of info on what is happening with my baby this week but it does say that research shows that in-utero chit chat may help your baby become a smarter, more verbal kid down the road.

I don't know about all the other ladies out there who have already had babies but i feel weird talking to my stomach, plus I never know what to say, so i usually read scriptures to her.

Coming from a musical background I had to play the baby classical music. So the other night we played some Ever After soundtrack for her, She loved it, every time we would take the head phones off she would kick me! Maybe that means she didn't like it...anyhow it was fun!

Manti Pageant

We went to the Manti Pageant this last Thursday, it was fun, a little cheesy but the message was good.
I can't believe this temple was built without cranes or any modern tools. It is a really pretty temple.

After the pageant we went and stayed in the Manti canyon. We parked my father-in-laws trailer in a turn around point and slept there overnight. In the morning we drove up the canyon and looked at the view.
There was a little lake up the canyon, we walked around it and took pictures.

Week 26

Week 28.

I think my stomach looks smaller in this picture. Ha ha that's weird...I am now at the point where I am uncomfortable all the time. I am not even that big but I feel huge! My stomach feels like it is in my ribs and the heart burn just gets worse by the day. Less then 3 months though, I know I can make it, but I am so ready for her to come out.

Week 28

Well I am now in my third and final trimester!! Yeah! Time has gone by so fast!

My baby's eyes will finally open and she'll begin blinking, even though it's pitch black in there. She's also on regular sleep-wake schedule, although she's only getting about 20-30 minutes of shut-eye at time -- very different from how much she'll be snoozing her first days as a newborn. By the way, my baby's now big enough to describe her size from head-to-toe, so we've switched over from crown-to-rump to a full-body measurement -- so neat! She is anywhere from 15.25-15.75 in and 2.25-2.5 pounds.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has given me ideas or offered to help me. It has been a big relief to hear what options I have.
We will have to see how things work out while I am on my maternity leave and then if we aren't making enough to pay for everything then I will have to work something out. Matt does make good money, and his job is great he loves being a helicopter instructor! We just have a lot of bills and they are all bills that we can't get out of, mainly student loans.
I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us, and I know that when we pay tithing that things will work out!

So I think that once the baby comes I am not going to be able to work because I will have a beautiful baby girl to take care of and there is no way in HELL I am taking my baby to day care. I really don't trust anyone with little kids, with all the sick people that you hear about on the news. You may think they are innocent and even though they are Mormon and living in Utah they are deceiving liars. Can you tell how i feel about this..anyways I recently went through our finances and we are getting screwed out the rear with our student loans, so to say the least I have to work but I don't know what to do. There is no way we can live on Matt's income alone especially where it is not guaranteed work. (He is an independent contractor so if his student doesn't come in he doesn't get paid.) and there is no one that can take care of her while I go to work.
Does anyone know of a legit place where i can work from home, or any ideas on what to do? I am kinda freaking out about this....I know that if we pay tithing and trust in the Lord things will work out but I still don't know what I am going to do because Matt doesn't make enough for us to live on.

Sorry this is a little late, i am now 26 week and 4 days, just got busy.

Our baby girl is now the size of a liter sode bottle. All the parts of her eyes are in place -- and she will be ready to open them and bat those eyelashes in just a few weeks. Her spine is becoming stronger and more flexible, too. It's about the same length as the palm of your hand, but it contains a whopping 150 joints and some 1,000 ligaments.

My baby is now the size of a 5 pound bag of flour although she is still a skinny little thing -- fat has yet to settle in under her skin and fill out her frame. This week, her little hands are fully grown, complete with fingerprints and fingernails!

Come back each week to get an update on the size of my baby. I think it is cool to know what is going on in there so i thought i would share it with you all.

Also just to catch up till now, Our baby has hair, can hear and can tell if she is rightside up or not. I think there are more things but those are the main ones.

Hot pots again

Yesterday for our friends birthday we went out to dinner and then we decided to go to some hot pots up Spanish Fork canyon. Matt's friend told us that the hike was only 3/4 of a mile and that it was a level trail. Well it ended up being a 2 mile hike one way and it was not level at all! Being 6 and a half months pregnant it was not so much fun for me, but it was nice to get some exersise. And dont worry I only got my legs in the hot pots because I don't want to cook my baby. Matt is so good to me, there was a big uphill and Matt helped me walk up it because it was hard, and he made sure that i wasn't going to fall and made sure that i drank plenty. He was so cute, he is the best ever, i couldn't ask for anyone better in my life!

Matt's other love (besides me of course) is his Bike. He loves to ride it, any chance he has he is on his bike. It is nice right now with gas prices so high, it gets about 50 miles per gallon! He is sad to have to sell it at the end of summer, but we need some extra money for the baby. Plus he would so much rather have a baby then a bike!

Ok I was so excited to blog about my weekend because i finaly had something to write about and post pictures...We went camping out in Delta on some property of a friend of Matt's and it was really a lot of fun. We went to some natural hot pots and just relaxed. Well when we went to the hot pots my camera was sitting on a camp chair and i forgot to take it but i wasn't worried because there was no one out there to touch our stuff or steal anything...I guess i was wrong. the girls that live on the property that we were camping on decided to play a prank on us and put our camp chairs in the tree and on top of the trailer and they put cow poo in everything, When we got back i couldn't find my camera anywhere, we asked them but the said that the put it in one of the camp chairs. The wind was blowing so hard that night and it was dark so i decided to look for it in the morning. In the morning i looked everywhere and finaly decided to give up. But as i was staring into the fire i found my camera burnt to a crisp, the only way i could tell it was my camera was the glass the lens and the bateries. I really don't know whos fault it was that it ended up in the fire but i know that the wind was blowing hard enough to knock it into the fire pit. I was so sad and really mad because i had a huge memory card in there and lots of pictures. Luckly most of them were already saved to our computer but still i was sad. So that was my fun weekend. YEAH! Now instead of getting the swing i wanted for our baby i am getting a camera.

New in pregnancy

On Sunday Matt and I took advantage of the great weather again and went up to bridalveil falls and took a nature walk and then went and layed on a blanket in the shade. Jayden was kicking away and Matt got to feel her kick for the first time. He was so excited about it and had the biggest smile on his face! Whenever i feel her kick i grab Matt's hand and put it on my stomach but then I think she knows whats going on and will stop kicking right then.

I went to the dr on monday and my appt was at 4:55 but we didn't get in the room until 5:55 and when the doctor came in, he measured my uterus, checked the babies heart beat and then we left. What is with that, i was already tired and hungry so the fact that we waited an hour to see the dr for 5 min made me a little mad. Oh well what can ya do!

Well so far i am not spending a ton of time on this so i am getting all the sleep I need! I have really good intentions about keeping this up to date but then when it comes down to it I really don't have a ton of motivation! Plus life right now is the same thing, go to work go home make dinner watch tv go to bed and then do the same thing again. Trying to find stuff to write about is kind of a hard thing right now. i am sure that wen Jayden comes i will have plenty to write about.

Things are going great here for Matt and I, We are both working full time and getting ready for our precious baby girl. Matt right now has 3 students that he teaches and he loves being a helicopter pilot. Work is going great for him right now. I am working full time at a credit union and love my job, but i must admit I am ready to be a mom.
I am 22 weeks today! I am more then halfway through this pregnancy!! Jayden is getting so big, she is the size of a 1 pound coffee bag. I obviously don't drink coffee so i don't really know what size that is all i know is that my stomach is starting to strech and get bigger. I can kind of feel her moving now it feels like someone is lightly poking my sotmach but from the inside. It is cool I can't wait to feel her start to kick.
Matt is so excited for her to come! He likes to talk to her and kiss my belly and say how much he loves her. My favorite thing that he does is he talks to her but i am not aloud to listen! He will tell me that he needs to have his alone time with Jayden and put his mouth to my stomach and start to talk to her. He usually says how much he misses and loves her and then he starts to make up some really funny things. One time he told her "not to poop in mommy" I was laughing so hard and he gets mad and tells me that i can't listen. It is really cute. One day i will get it on video, it is so funny! He also likes to take her for walks in the stroller that we have. You might be asking how this works, well he will put one of her dresses in the stroller and walk her around. I love it he cracks me up all the time. He is going to be a great daddy and she will be his little princess.
